Meet Frank C. Hudetz

Frank C. Hudetz candidate for City of Wheaton, Illinois Councilman At-Large.

A PROVEN DEDICATED AND TRUSTED LEADER

"I believe authenticity, transparency and integrity are the ingredients of trust. Functioning under these values earned me a position with Naval Intelligence entrusted with top secret clearance; further allowed me to grow a family company to $100 million in sales, and most importantly has been the foundation of the greatest accomplishment in my life, my 53 year marriage."

FRANK FACTS

"Aside from my family, and the future well-being of all of Wheaton, I’m passionate about the needs of our Seniors, Veterans, and Citizens With Special Needs. Due to firsthand experience with each of these groups, I can be trusted to be proactive in their support and advocacy."

Community Focused

A long time member of the community, Hudetz grew up in Warrenville, graduated from St. Francis Prep in Wheaton, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree, in business, from North Central College in Naperville. Hudetz has been a Wheaton resident for nearly fifteen years, and a DuPage County resident for over sixty years.

No stranger to service, Hudetz served in the United States Navy during The Vietnam war, served as Commissioner of the Wheaton Housing Commission, and is currently an elected precinct Committeeman for Milton Township.

Voice for Senior Citizens

In addition to demographically being a member of this particular group, Hudetz is acutely aware of Senior needs. Having served recently as a Commissioner on the Wheaton Housing Commission added insight to these needs. In fact, alarmed by no existing policy for senior housing, he spoke in front of the City Council, urging them to be more forward thinking when it comes to affordable housing for seniors.

Voice for Veterans

Hudetz was Honorably Discharged after having served in the U.S. Navy for six years during the Vietnam war. As a Veteran, Hudetz places great importance on continuing to remember those who served. As such, Hudetz actively volunteers by visiting Veterans in nursing homes during their last days on a different battlefield, as well as honoring Veterans through participation in pinning ceremonies and other community events. Hudetz is adamant about being a voice for Wheaton Veterans.

Voice for Citizens with Special Needs.

Frank has been married to his wife, Carolyn for over 50 years. Together they have two adult children, E. Heather and Frank. Early in their marriage Carolyn was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Being a progressive illness, both Frank and Carolyn have navigated the resources available to citizens with special needs. Hudetz sees many opportunities for growth in this area and is excited to work towards a more accessible community.
